About the role:
This is an exciting and varied role where you’ll support the College Development Unit (CDU)/IT Manager with the ongoing development of the CDU and Learning and Development Centre (LDC). You’ll enhance and facilitate the learning and engagement of both staff and students by creating and providing training, support, materials and advice.
You’ll be confident working to promote and develop our VLE (Moodle) and other online learning platforms to enhance independent learning. This includes eTrackr, Smart Assessor and the College social media platform ‘SC Connect’.

Qualifications and experience required:
· Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or the commitment to gaining within 24 months
· Prior experience delivering a VLE platform in a learning and information environment
· Ability to use e-learning/ILT applications for the creation of online resources
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence and ability to relay information accessibly to a wide ange of customer
· Confidence to provide training 121 and in small groups
