Full Time, Permanent  

 

Are you passionate about creative arts, media, film, TV and graphics as well as having a desire to contribute to student success? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to lead and develop our Media and Creative Arts curriculum.

 

This is a really exciting time to join our evolving team and we’d love to hear from you if your experience and drive are focused on teaching Games, Animation and Film. 

 

We need a colleague who gets excited by writing and delivering engaging schemes of work for our students getting them actively involved in learning both practically and theoretically.   

 

You’ll have:

  • Experience of formal teaching, training or mentoring learners.
  • The knowledge of planning programmes and being a Course Leader for both Level 2 and 3.  
  • The capability to deliver high quality teaching and learning and giving the students a learning experience.
  • Ability to teach 2D and 3D Animation, film video.
  • Ability to teach 3DS Max, Animate, After Effects, Premier, Photoshop and Illustrator.

You’ll need:

  • A Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or the commitment to gain this qualification)
  • Higher Degree (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline
  • A Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of current developments in Creative Media
